Music from distant galaxies and an evening of lightsabers.

On May the 4th – the day the Force can be felt a little more than usual – the Water Tanks will transform into a galactic space filled with music and lights. 

You can look forward to iconic film melodies from the most famous space sagas performed by the Moravian Piano Trio, a flute performance accompanied by a light show, and installations that will take you to distant galaxies and to models of planets in the solar system 

The evening will also commemorate its Brno connection – compositions by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, a native of Brno, were among the significant inspirations for John Williams's work.

Tours with concerts: at 16:00, at 17:00, at 18:00  

Tour Programme: 

• Water tank No. 2 – opening with a concert of melodies that defined a film galaxy, performed by the Moravian Piano Trio (approx. 30 min.) 

• Water tank No. 1 – Film melodies played on the flute accompanied by a light installation (approx. 10 mins) 

• Water tank No. 3 – a space shooter and models of the solar system planets 

From 7.00 PM to 8.00 PM, tours of Water Tanks No. 1 and 3 will take place without concerts at a reduced price. Tickets for these tours will only be available for purchase on the day of the event at the ticket office. 

At 19:30 will take place Meeting with lightsabers in the park above the reservoirs. 

Refreshments can be purchased in the park from the Soul bistro food truck.
